this is a felt bird i made using scrap felt and some cross stitch embroidery yarn. 

this is a page from a notebook i bought form Muji and turned it into my crochet notebook...

junque journal

the pinoyscrapbookers girls decided to try a new venture... making a junque journal. i do not know if i am doing justice to my work but using old stashes and adding techniques makes the journal a unique creation.

binding : metal rings

embossing and using beeswax to give a matte finish look.

i also used atc carousel clips and wooden pegs with the ribbons

i also used a coats and clark zipper on the last back page where you can insert photos or anything.

ants

using gouache paints as the medium here, i tried to create multi colored background and doodling some alien ants.

altered ephemera journal

for july at artzdescrap, our inspirational scrapper is Ramintessah Aihara, A filipina based in Japan... you can visit artzdescrap and check out her tutorial on altered journal.

for my take, i decided to compile my ephemera gifts from a postcrosser ( postcrossing addict i am!) in lithuania. she gave me these awesome labels, tickets, stickers, coasters, postcards anything from lithuania...


i used the DCWV cardboard stack and embossed the background with gold details... i also made use of vintage diecuts from k and co which are so yummy!

binding was only made from eyelets and leather strings.

crackled painted journal

i made this crackled painted journal on a used notebook. i knew i have to check my distress crackled paints because some were dried up and sadly have to throw the whole bottle away. i have thrown 2 bottles already... i wonder if the weather in the philippines has something to do with the drying up condition. if not, do we put them on the refrigerator?

some vintage photos which i printed and downloaded on the internet.

i decided to layer and played with the crackled paints lest they dry up and i won't be able to enjoy them.

lil' fat flashcard albums

i made this project album for my son using fruits and vegetables flashcards and binding it with zutter ( thanks mitch sy for letting me borrow !)... what do you expect from a mommy
scrapbooker even if the teacher told them to submit an album using ordinary folder...

altered book page

this is a book i bought from booksale at 35pesos. i altered a page... inspired by nina's book journal.

Altering the "altered" journal

when i say i am altering the altered journal, i mean it. this is a second "altered" look of my journal... check the original altered journal here

steps ::

1.i painted the cover with MM acrylic paint after getting the original flower and ppr off.

2. let the paint dry. spray with my favorite walnut ink antiquing spray!

3. i used the lil davis chipboard frame ( the one i used for mitch's card), attached some AC biggy brads on four holes and on top of it, epoxy stickers from Mod.

4. to finalize the whole scene, i added the faux wax seal to the bare middle. some ribbons from AC were adhered... and since this is a 2 way ribbon -- the colors are coordinated.

altered binder journal

i made this binder journal from sarabinder ( thanks sahrie for taking time to ship this special order...) with papers from sassafras and dreamstreet. i also painted the cover with metallic rose from lil davis. ribbons and charms from MM, AC and 7gypsies. chipboards from kc and IP. the foam stamp on the right upper side is not so obvious.

this binder contains my expenses, challenges skeds ( as if i would be joining all), bank accounts of the sellers, scrapbook sites. i also cut some scraps that would serve as my papers! wow imagine writing on pps... cool. sarabinder surely is a great buy and own! oh, i still have some space for my wishlists too.

the journal

i got this naked journal from airees and dressed it with PC wooden flower embellishment and foofala papers. i also incorporated fibers to accentuate the journal's spiral binding.
