i bought this teNeues journal at FullyBooked and i just loved it!!! the pages are acid free ( they smell acid free) and the cover is so vintagey and classic.

Vintage Adventure Maya Road Minibook

i made this ATC-like minibook using collages and downloads from artella.com, this was supposed to be posted last month but i kept postponing it due to circumstances. anyway, i used Maya Road sheer scallop minibook, paints, embellishments, ephemeras, rub ons, stickers and other elements.

design team update

Albeit school works of my kids and everything, I would like to share with you two important updates:

I would be designing for Artzdescrap altered challenge blog as a Permanent Resident Designer. This blog would be a portal for tutorials and inspiration for altered elements. There would be challenges and do join in too because creativity comes from within and sometimes unexpectedly. Who knows, your talent in altering may just be waiting to be discovered.

I would also be designing for a local scrapbook store here in the Philippines. The owner has not yet formally announced the details to all. soon.

For the past design teams/guest design teams ( scrapbookshawaii, scrapbukan, lasting impression), I am very pleased to have worked with you all. It gave me an open path for exploration and creation.

For the future design team/ guest team design that i would be working with late this year and early next year, I am very much excited! I hope I would be able to expand this passion with everyone.

I think thats about it. busy busy.

busy days ahead

school is here and i would be very very busy for the next couple of months. i might not be able to make tutorials and scrap some layouts for a while because the demand as a full time mom calls for it. so if you happened to visit this blog un-updated, pls. understand. lol.

but of course, i will try to relive the time spent with scrapbooking... hopefully.

sometimes, our priorities in life changes and i may be one of those in the circle. so so busy. 4 kids in school is very multi-tasking. their schedules mixed up, their snacks i have to take care of not to mention their daily homeworks and of course their daily lunch too. the most dilemna-ed of them all is taking them to school.

to those in my circle i know of-- j.y, m.t., i salute you, how did you ever do that.

altered cardboard drawer ( my last assignment for Artzdescrap)

this is my last altered DT assignment for artzdescrap.... i had a fun 6 months time with them and hopefully will continue to contribute to their monthly submission as a scrapbooker (x DT) to inspire you all...

procedure: this is a cardboard do it yourself/assemble yourself drawer and i painted it with acrylic paint. decorated it with junkitz paper and sprayed radiant rain too. sturdy cardboard drawer.

Meaning of Life Mini accordion book

i made this mini accordion book for Kaya 13, pinoyscrapbookers' challenge blog.

its all about the sacrifices and the most difficult challenge in your life that you have to scrap. well, i cannot even say i have only one most difficult challenge thats why i compiled it into one mini.

i received my swap layout from liza yet ( singapore ) at scrappinkids and look what she had for me?

i did not expect papers!!! ( she said its a little rak, my my thats not little kindness anymore hehehhe and she added an SEI sticker to that! thanks liza!!) and also some goodies for the little ones too!

i missed scrapfest 5!!!

last may 17, 2008 was a day i really anticipated but i did not expect that i would come up with this sickening pharyngitis which gave me a high grade temperature and a severe throat ache and other symptoms which i could not bear. and so i missed it... god i missed this most important event in my life because i was supposed to demo and share ideas with everyone. i was really down.

but gee, with every sadness comes happiness...i was glad on the other side of everything because i won first place in the "jazz up your toolbag" competition!!!!!!!!!!! i decided to submit this toolbag even if i was not around.. taking some chance eh.



I used the ranger puffy embossing powder which is so cool!!!! it has a powdery finish when you heat emboss it and it works even better on paper! click here to know where i purchased it.

wheeeee!!!! and look what prizes i got!!!!

this is my demo album ( not the prototype ) for the demo portion using some stamps from absolutement and different stamping techniques. the album size is 6x12.

i was really in cloud 9 when i saw my altered dental floss container featured at the Scrapscene's Speedlink Saturday for week May 11/08. it was indeed an honor for me. thanks angie for the feature. it was so unexpected but i really really appreciated it!!!

ma and me

i did this layout for scrap-n-crop dt challenge for May using vintage pictures and at least 2 basic grey papers. i scanned the my circa 1974 pic of me and my mom at the temple down south of the philippines. my father took this pic using his minolta. he loves to take pics too!!!
