stamping on metal

for the july 2010 issue of scrapbook news and review, i created a card using stamp on a metal surface... i used the making memories metal sheets and stamped on it. i outlined and cut the bird image and what a great accent this would make.

a tiny idea sparked inside me just now, why not emboss on metal... hmmm.

using fabric paper on your card

the american crafts fabric paper is a must for every scrapbooker and cardmaker! tell you, these fabric paper are self adhesive and their designs are to die for!!

for this card, i stamped an elephant image from hero arts, cut and adhered to the card... you can also paint on it too! the designs are so beautiful ! this is my contribution for Scrapbook news and review online featuring "stamping on fabric paper" category.

these are available at visual creations, so many cute designs to choose from.

rub on card

using rub ons on your card... a unique way to decorate! take a peek at your rub on stash, do you own so much of those? why not use them on your card? collage them and add some embellis... you will be surprised with your creations.. you know rub ons look like STAMPS in a way... so its easy to create.

altered maya road tin can

this is my take for Artzdescrap's july challenge... i used a Maya Road tin can as a lunch box. for the handle, i used a fabric tape for the grip look. american crafts pattern papers are also included here. flowers from prima, making memories masking tape, prima transparent tape and wrmk ribbons are some supplies used.

after making the tin can, it looked better inside my storage area... i know you have lots of these tin cans as packages and some might accidentally throw them away to lessen their stuffs but mind you, when you dispose them, you lose half of your decorative creativity! so alter them and give it away to someone, use it as lunchboxes ( as our challenge for this month is). that way, they don't end up in garbages.

cherish vintage card

for snr may issue, i cut an oblong hole in the middle and frame it with prima stamps to create a see through look on the card. bird cage from hambly adds a 3d effect to the overall design. to make your card more personalized, why not use your own penmanship for the title?
