when summer is not that good
this summer, it was a wrong decision to go back to the province after all. i should have saved the airfare for something else. it was a wrong decision because the least expected thing has happened. im sorry i have to post this emotion but it ruined my vacation.. oh its not a vacation per se. its worst than anything. im sorry.
the san roque temple
we have been going to the san roque temple for years ever since i was a child. i remember the temple as a small room with an altar and lots of candles and incense. i used to drink the tea that was being offered to the god (ti-ya-ya-kong). this temple's location is near the outskirts of the city.
after the renovation years ago, we still continued to visit the temple because of the blessings and care the god ti-ya-ya-kong gave us all through the years.

summer and my piano
i should be posting this entry on my personal blogsite but i want my scrapping friends to access my summer fun here and so be it.
going home means touching my piano again. scrapping and piano goes hand in hand for me. it is relaxing in a way and that you tend to exhale the stress in your mind through the music in your hands. with scrapbooking, it is releasing tension through your hands and creativity.
i love to play the piano again. though not an expert, it gives me a sense of pleasure deep down inside me when i play tunes. there are memories with the pieces i played during my childhood days and surely it made me a happy girl again.

wetlook
this is my 3rd entry to the MLA challenge. i used the wild heart and free spirit designs. monograms from we r memory keepers, mambi stickers, MM metal flower, gingham ribbon. journalling reads: dipping by the pool with your kids is the best thing summer can offer...splash with water, laugh your way with them... summer brings so much fun and excitement.
this picture was during the summer of 2006 at the pagsanjan resort pool. aetom loves the water!!
i rubbed the photo with ranger old paper distress ink to dim the bright blue.
Mt. Makulot
this is my second entry to the MLA challenge. materials used: spiffy, mulberry road and wild heart series. i also have a hidden journalling pull out which read: "it was the summer of 2005 when we hiked to Mt. Makulot, Batangas. Though steep and muddy, we were able to reach the peak after 2 hours of continous climb. It was indeed a great view up there!".
i sanded a portion of the pattern paper and used AC rub ons for the title.
