this is my take on the scrappinkids family challenge for february.

materials: cosmo cricket papers; prima flowers; maya road swirl chipboard with luminarte shimmer and stickles; heidi swapp letter; imaginesce brads; MM bracket; maya road sheer note; american craft brads; MM ruby red glaze paint; lace; tzukineko antiquing spray.

the metal brads on primas;
i also sprayed the surrounding pic with antiquing spray to give emphasis and focus on the photo.

i also sanded the title and dabbed some ruby red glaze on the lace for that shabby look.

shimmering paints and stickles are applied on this chipboard swirl.

journaling reads:
lovely, brightly little flower telling of a brighter bloom. bursting in a summer hour from thy winter tomb.

You must post the rules before you give your answers. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

( i used my middle name LIM)

ALTERED FRAME * a sample for artzdescrap's february inspirational scrapper's take*

do you have those toy package just waiting to be thrown away? if so, then

get one of those and alter it into something:
here, i used ranger distress crackle paint!!!! i love this product so much! just paint on it.. that easy!

wait for sometime before everything dries up and.....

when it starts to crack, you will love the regularity of its crackling effect!

i then used antiquing solution from rangers and tried to tap just one drop to see the effect.

you can drop several of them depending on your design.
look how the solution would seep into the crack!

you can also brush it over the cracks! see how cool!

these babes are true loves!

and the finished product.....

so don't throw your garbage away. think first... you would never know !

this altered frame sample is for the february tutorial by inspirational scrapper SRI SAMS from singapore/usa at artzdescrap. i just needed to let you see how i came up with this frame and how magnifico the crackle paint is... as easy in one step and the effect is unbelievable... time to get more of that!

happy valentines to all

Seeds of Love

this is my entry to scrapbukan's making memories noteworthy challenge.

this is my favorite part while making the journal: crackling it!

i also made use of alcohol inks on the front cover because it is transparency-like!

the words of narnia: the words of a mom.
i think car, arrow or stars chipboard albums are fitted for family albums.
