locally made

got these cute local stamps from Papemelroti for my postcrossing usage...

baker's twine ( light green) and washi tapes from Hey Kessy...

tried wrapping around a wooden clothespin for that "fabric-ated" look.

been on a scrapbooking rut a couple of weeks... feels so good just to be on a moody mood, even for quite a short while today.

vow of love

i handmade this 6x6 wedding mini album as a present for a client's best friend who will be leaving the Philippines soon. the pages inside the album were not included as per client's request.

hope her best friend will love the album...

i wish i could show the pages inside since they are very romantic and dreamy with a bit of shabby concept but i have to respect my client's choice. anyway, here it is... only the cover and some overview...

i added some techniques with flowers and chipboards embellishments...

my family

my last layout for studio azul as their guest designer for mid october.
for this layout, the prima corrugated board paper is really an UBER SHABBY DISTRESSED material, so to speak.

you can tear some part out, distressed it with paint and ink creating another universe!

acetate bird with glimmer glam and paint.

layering with pop up dots or glue

thank you

reaching 39 is something to ponder about, it's an age where i have to say goodbye to the 3's and welcoming the 4. in chinese culture, i am already 40. every birthday, i feel as if time is consuming my life. as life gets shorter as your birthday comes, my friend told me a positive thing, i should be thankful i have to count all the years i had lived. that's more important than thinking of my life being shortened as the years passed.

i know i had lived a somewhat happy life but of course, nothing is perfect. there may be frustrations and shortcomings and so many other things that will come and go but one thing for sure, i just wish my birthday wish will come true... but of course, that's a secret nobody should know. :)

bunch of flowers and a cake for me from my family. indeed, i want to celebrate it in a different way.

my third layout for studio azul...
i love the mix and match of colors here even though it's a boy layout! what can flowers do to a boy layout?

splattering some martha stewart microbeads...

stamping on american crafts thickers will transform them from boring solid colors to a highlighted and patterned chipboard title..

14 layouts in 15 hours.

last october 8, 2011, a couple of friends ( mostly Pinoyscrapbookers moderators ) were invited by Tin Yao to celebrate the post-party of Scrapbuffet at their place in Tagaytay City ( Midlands). We arrived at a rainy morning while some girls went ahead already. It was a scrap all you can event where we "INDULGE" in everything scrappy! Can you imagine the papers all you can EAT... i mean USE?? stamps, inks, punchers, embellishments and FOOD to your delight? not to mention the cheese and wine that went with it? I will have to post some pics soon because it would be unjust not to..

anyway, here are my 14 layouts i did in 15 hours. Straight 15 hours non stop. Some of my friends finished 25 layouts! can you imagine that?

this is my best friend's wedding a couple of years back. i look thin here!

studio azul kit

by next week, i will be posting layouts i made with Studio Azul's October kit ( Think Good Thoughts) where i am a Guest Designer. i am so excited with the kit, gorgeous choice of papers and embellishments which are so shabby and chic! Thanks Tin Yao of Studio Azul for the that opportunity!
watch out for it!
