december mail swap with hey kessy! very exciting indeed! i will post pic of what i received soon. i have always loved clean style ( and that's with hey kessy's style ) but i really have to make a mess out of the cleanliness! LOL. always...
i just have to use those old graphic 45 papers from last years collection because they are still fresh and the designs are vintage which i love so much. so here are some cards i did using ONLY papers, without chipboards or other embellishments! ( coz i dont have any!lol)
DT moderator and creator of Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog pioneered the swap wherein each DT member will do one layout for each DT member. The group is divided into 2 and here are my takes on 4 layouts to be swap with each of them,
its the mid time of the month of october and once again, the filipino scrapbookers are encouraging everyone to join in the fun in the sketch!
this is a two page sketch but i tried to modify and squeeze in to create a one page layout. it was a challenge per se because it was a dictation to myself whether i am to defy or not to defy against the sketch. but in the end, i did took up the challenge... i was also inspired by fellow DT bessie for her one page layout too.
i made these two layouts yesterday during my me-time. i have not much new stuffs because i seldom buy anymore since i rarely scrap nowadays. but when i saw my stash just sitting there, i felt pity and guilty. lol!
the girls at Pinoyscrapbookers, moderated by Ms. Tin Yao organized an ATC swap event participated by 22 ( approximately ) scrapbookers. we were divided into 2 groups. each group will swap with each other. i made a total of 9 ATCs.
Thank you to Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog for the great opportunity in the coming next 6 months. The rest of the DT members will be coming up with great layouts from great sketches! So pull your scrap stash out, so am I... and join me in this mojo comeback. I know some of you have gone different ways, diversions ( which we cannot even comprehend as to why we had to at least sway a bit) but there is always an outlet in scrapbooking which we cannot even understand too.
So in this journey, just be with us. Try to make some layouts from the sketch, make them your guide, your light. As what we say " sayang naman ang scrap stash if we do not use it ". You do not have to be as fast as a cheetah to scrap but only do it with your heart, and that's what counts.
here is my take on the first intro layout.
these are really backlog papers which i have not touched for months but i still love the colors and the paper designs.
