a tutorial on flock rub ons

i would like to share a tutorial on how flock rub ons work and incorporating it on a layout. this tutorial was featured on the august issue of scrapbook news and review online.

materials: note the 7 gypsies flock rub ons

some transparencies, grungeboard too


stickles for the sparkle :

bedazzles on grungeboard:


cut your favorite image:
this is the glue portion of the image


use a rub on tool to transfer the adhesive to the die cut/paper and lift off:


simply appose your flock to the sticky portion:



finished product :


bedazzles with diamond glaze ( as adhesive)

cards and cards


using sponge on your card will create and give it a unique and textured look! any sponge will do! here i dabbed it with cream paint then stamped a hero arts image over it.



for your sister or best friend; i made use of bedazzles and smooches here for the metallic-like look!
