smooch review

i got these babes 2 days ago and fell in love with the classy lady-like containers! the sleek black brush on applicator combines the feel of an eyeliner and lip gel in one! can you just imagine applying it as a scrapbook accent? drool...

anyway, i decided to test them on my ATCs... on cardstock, on chipboard and glass beads and molding paste.

it has that rich shimmer which does not lightened upon applying. creamy and not liquid-y and so it retains its color to the max.

on glass beads.

on cardstock. you will notice the shimmer but not dimensional. unless you reflect it against the light, you won't be able to appreciate the real color. but it adds spark to any embellishment!

available at Visual Creations. hope its not sold out though..!

image transfer using Stewart Superior Transfer Ink

would you like to print your colored pictures on inkjets and transfer them on a canvas? no need for powder xerox or laser copies here...

the stewart superior transfer ink would transfer your inkjet images in no time...

materials: claudine helmuth's sticky canvas, stewart superior transfer ink, kaiser craft paints

the only thing i noticed here is that it transfers "ghostly" images. these images works great for distressed artworks, collages and ATCs too.

as per instructions:

another image was used here because while i was experimenting with the previous image, i think i rubbed off the image! it was supposed to be just lifting the image off.

so, take two...

finished products: to compare with gel medium transfers, i think the gels would come up with detailed images. watch out for my gel medium transfer image soon.

scor-it mini - a review

i know many people would say, why buy a scorer when your trimmer comes with it? you see, having an exclusive scorer is something, well, not really a must for all because you really can make use of your trimmer/scorer in any projects but being me, i just fell in love with this mini scor-it!

i did these truffle bags through a tutorial on the scor-it website and these are really perfect for give aways too! just put chocolates or candies inside the open baggies and there you go... a goody bag to boast.

i hope to make more projects with this wonderful tool!!!

crafter's pick The Ultimate! - a review

if you are a fan of tim holtz, you will notice in his book ( distressables 2) that this adhesive is a must for adhering heavy embellishments and true enough, i find this so handy and friendly!

sticks clear, fast and very strong too! this white glue is definitely a must for every scrapbooker.

this is my first bottle and i would definitely be purchasing another one again in the future! oh this is available at Visual Creations, by the way.

birthday

this is my entry for busybee scrapbooking june sketch. i enjoy working with sketches because with it, i have an idea on how to layout everything from embellishments to photos. and there is always room for modification!

materials: k and company urban rhapsody. american craft and heidi swapp chipboard alphas; and ghost wings; making memories glitter diecuts, anna griffin chipboard;

notice how neat and clear the wings are attached to the chipboard??... thanks to the
KOKUYO DOT n' ROLLER!!!

the rolling adhesive is super dooper friendly and believe me, this is so clear you can see nothing visible especially for transparencies! you can also use this for anything from photos to papers. i really lovee this goody!!!
and if you need refills, it is readily available if you need to replace it.

using tim holtz texture hammer

i made this simple card using tim holtz texture hammer. i used it on a duct tape ( bracket ) and pounced it with alcohol inks. i dont need a texture template already because the hammer serves it all.

some of the coolest colors from the collection of nick bantock stamp pad inks.

the chipboard like embellishment was from scrappinkids when they had their scrappinkids charity drive.

this textured hammer is also great for the tim holtz grunge board.
