modge podge projects part2

i used the tin cans from the manila hotel. they gave out these cans when there are weddings-- kind of souveniers from them.

these are my first 2 projects using modge podge. oh how i love this decoupage glue. so versatile and useful. it can make a project stand out too!!

the first one is a plastic container which i intend to throw away but looking at the shape of the container, i thought that maybe i could make something out of it. right now, i used it for scratch papers.

this is my old van houten tincan where i used to put my lists of to do's and various accoutings in bin cards. oh well, see how it has evolved into a can of cuteness.

and all because of modge podge.

a demo with the preschoolers on march 2, 2007

on march 2, 2007, i will conduct a demo on simple tag bookmark with the classmates of my sons at their preschool learning center... how does it feel to talk in front of 13 little kids.? would they heed my demo and since this is a "make and take" ala scrapbook event, hahahah.. then i have to prepare 13 kits too!

i am sure excited but still crossing my fingers that everything will be a success.

i will make them stamp one image then stick that image on the bookmark. i will just have to put double sided tape (do they know how to use it?) so that there will be less mess with paste and glue.

i will give them my fibers too for the final touch.

a word of advice from my mom: pre-demo with my 2 sons first. lets see if they stick to my words. !!!

i used cosmo cricket love notes kit and tags. printed the journalling on transparency. i also embossed with "rambling red".

materiales used: my mind's eye, everyday tango kit. i used the diecut alphas included in the kit and paste them on each circle (part of a ppr too). i also used mod podge for the final coating to give it a lacquer-like finish.

aedan is a brave little boy. this picture was taken on his first check up ff his operation. he seemed to be at ease.
