Passing by pasonanca, you can see the monument of the late mayor of zamboanga city, mrs. ma. clara lobregat. this monument was made in bronze and was designed by lee imao's husband, Toym Imao, a well known artist in manila. this is indeed a work of art because the monument really looks like mrs. lobregat! and it really captured her aura in a statue.
the monument is located in a jardin and is a good place for relaxation and medication. the small park boasts of landscaping but although not yet fully constructed, stylish chairs can be found on the vicinity. there is also a butterfly garden inside the jardin.
