altered wooden pail

i bought this wooden pail at a bee farm in tagaytay city last year. this is a pail made of crate wood with an iron handle.

how to go about this:
1. gesso the wooden pail on areas to be painted.
2. i decided to paint the insides as well.
3. i made use of crackle method.
4. decorate the handle with ribbons.
5. use buttons and fibers for an all over dainty look.
6. foam stamp was used too!
