DT Call for Artzdescrap

We are looking for talented Scrappers to be part of our inspirational group for a period of 6 months starting Jan 09 to Jun 09.

You will be receiving the following

- Recognition and Exposure

- All alterable items for the Challenges (when there are giveaways).

- A RAK as a token of appreciation from Artz de Scrap.

In turn, you are required to

- Submit all your monthly submissions due on time and submit all the mid-month tutorials.

- Host 1 tutorial in a pre-determined month within your term.

- You will also have to post all sneaks and your takes on the challenges on your respective blogs and to promote Artz de Scrap.

- Discounts at Artz de Scrap's associates's esteemed online stores.

of boys and trips minibook

this is my dt project for visual creations for the month of november featuring

the Cosmo Cricket Blackboard chipboard album.

i had fun doing the minibook! the color black is so versatile and easy to blend with other embellishments. papers are used to the minimal too! you can add paint and any medium which the black book would look good with. white space on black is a handsome combination!

anything is good with black... the right combination will make your creation a standout!

challenge 45 at journaling junkie

as their guest designer, it is my privilege to scrap with the crew's A team ( with fellow pinays liza and mia castrillo there!). this is my second layout for them.

visual creations beeswax session

last november 21, 2008, 8 enthusiastic scrappers gathered together in a class moderated by mitch sy and cabbie lopez.

the class started at 7:00pm and finished at 11:00pm. we had our yummy kits and enjoyed the beeswax session and other mediums too!

lots of techniques were incorporated in the said altered travel journal.


this is my prototype journal mini book.

on the other hand, this is mitch's lovely prototype.


everyone enjoyed the class though we wished time would be more flexible. we also had our great tasting dinner of Causeway's rice toppings!!! we hope to have this kind of class again in the near future!

Altered Frame

for the month of november, a tutorial by no other than Ms. IRIS UY over at artzdescrap will surely captivate your eyes!!! this is my take on her work and design.

one happiness

i am so happy to be appointed (!) as guest designer for Journaling Junkie for 2 months to fill in the gap for one of their DT who has an important matter to attend to.

holiday sampler published

woohoo!!! the editor of Ready Set Create emailed me ( along with other talented ladies) few weeks ago that she would love to feature some of our cards for the Holiday sampler... i made 3 cards!!! but of course i cannot post them here after 30 days..

altered IKEA frame

this is my altered project for artzdescrap ( november ) using an IKEA frame.

the how to's:

1. an IKEA wooden frame painted with Kaiser acrylic paint ( navy blue )



2. painted with another coat of Making Memories acrylic paint ( shopping bag);

3. embossed with gold embossing powder and using autumn leaves stamp.

4. added Beadazzles !!!! ( available at visual creations but this was the last bottle i got! i wanna more!!)

5. prima angel stamp was used and embossed on a heavy weight cardstock then cut to outline.



6. radiant rain twinkling waters were used to color up the angel.




7. for the chipboard, used the sepia accents to adhere the beadazzles.


8. embossing technique was done on the chipboard petal.

i put the embellishments/rub ons on 2 sides focusing 2 angles.
