for the month of august at artzdescrap, we will be having our very own TIMI MERCADO as our inspirational scrapper. she did a tremendously wonderful idea with toilet tubes ( which we usually and always throw away!). in this tutorial ( click here), she created various pieces of art with toilet tubes.

for Scrapbook News and Review ( June 2009) issue, this is my contribution for the Double Stamping technique, ahem, i think i did not get the right technique done!!! oh my. but nevertheless, i have altered a coffee stirrer in no time.

my take on Playing with Photos over at Scrapbook news and review ( june 2009 ) issue. here, i used distressing with distressor for the ragged edges look. i also inked it with distress inks. masking was also done as an accessory technique.

Coraling ( with a G) : a phonecard artdoll

this august, artzdescrap has come up with something you might be interested... creating stuffs out of playing cards or any cards.

for my take, i decided to create something out of used phonecards.

how about using COTTON for her hair?

and painting it with colors for that highlighted look?

inspired by Neil Gaiman's novel CORALINE, i modified this phonecard artdoll and named her

same button eyes like Coraline's

i really don't do beautiful artdolls and of course they are not always playable to little girls!

a night of fun with cookie

last night we had so much fun chatting and a yummy dinner at Pepper Lunch to go with it. it was the "despedida" party for Cookie Aguilar, a very talented lady who will settle in Australia soon.

it was a small short chat night with her together with some GNO crews ( as what we call ourselves).
