a layout for bangbang. i used chatterbox sticker and painted with glitter glaze. i stitched the journal with embroidery floss. pps used: basic grey lilykate collection.

nina gave this to me during the christmas party and i oh so love it!!! i love tin cans thats why! and she distressed it too giving the can a vintage classy look. inside the can, you will find 5 cards with front and back panels-- all about me, some works and our friendship.

i used K and company and some basic grey papers... the bookmark can be detached and will reveal the title too.

My Scoops Parole

this is the scoops parole from the scoops over the years. i cannot throw them away thats why i just have to make them into something worth making...

how to: cut all the handles from the scoops. i used gain (gain and gain school advance), enfalac enfagrow scoops, al 110 scoops.

painted the border with red and gold (not seen) glittered them too.

the orange acrylic painted from the enfa line of scoops with glitters.

the lavander acrylic painted from the gain scoops with pinpoint glitters.

the middle gold and silver from the al 110 scoops.

i pasted the whole star on a cartolina. each of the scoops glued on it. i then cut the outline of the scoops and hang it on the wall.

hopefully it wont fall off...

ps. i still have yellow scoops from wyeth s26. in time for valentines day.

My cake ... 4th birthday

this is adriel's 4th birthday last october 25, 2006. we coincided it with the halloween special... materials :: basic grey Hang 10 collection, tags, stickers, whollycow rub ons, sakura souffle outlining the stitch-like design. some studio K words.. wooden words painted with sky blue acrylic atop neopolitan word sticker.

this is a simplelayout for my dear pinoyscrapbookers egroup. this photo was taken during the scrapmeet2. i used: bazzill cs, clear stamp, mm foam stamps, gold acrylic and distressed with ink and antique linen. hs flower and painted with acrylic, chipboard to go and chatterbox papers. local lace.

Scrap for a cause

last sunday, oct 15, i attended the scrap for a cause. my main motto there is to scrap for the children, one thing because it will serve as a memory to them and secondly, its for free...

so there, we get to choose the pictures of the children and the papers~ all for free!!! its a good feeling because we start from scratch..from nothing. and from there, we get to scrap them. i did put some journalling but not much though. but still, i enjoyed doing the scrapping.

the truth is, this is the only time where scrappers scrap without going there just to shop though there are lots of booths to shop!! i mean, they went there to scrap for the children and listen to the lectures and not just shop..

i am happy with the experience though we might not get to see the children in their skin anymore.

nina was there too and i am so proud of her because she was able to scrap in public. and she won the consolation prize during the challenge!!!

Acceptance at Basic Grey

after reading their acceptance email, i wondered if they had gone wrong accepting me. so i reread for the nth time and well, for their own reason perhaps, they got my accordion.

only the front panel got in. i submitted the back panel but i guess it was not in their taste...

i heard bg designer teams are choosy with their layouts. oh well, we all have our own techniques and designs, and every layout is beautiful in one's eyes.

after pursuading myself that this is for real, i did not react because i felt i was still a novice at heart. there are divas in scrapbooking getting accepted at the site and for me to be at par with them is something not in my world i could hope for ... but deep inside, i felt so honored.

i could only thank people for believing in me when they sent in their warm greetings. praises like that are meant to make you feel good but not only that, they are inspirations and boosters for us all to be more productive and to be better scrappers.

the memory of love accordion is all about me. it is an inspiration about the life i am now living. from my childhood days to the wedding itself, this accordion will remind me of how i see life back then and now.

Meeting with Diane

Oct. 6, 2006 was a good day for me. i met up with diane, nina and janujen at mega. even for a short 2.5 hours, we enjoyed those times so scarce and so fast. of course, our visit to smile, simple joys and carolinas was not to be missed aside from the stationary dept of sm to check on the albums and some stuffs.

we did not made it heavy on snacks because our cellphones kept alerting..messages here and there.. and nina has to break free again too soon. of course, matt was with her with his beloved stroller.

at 6:30pm we peck each other goodbye, we did not have the chance to share more stories because of time constraint. but we enjoyed each other's company. i will see diane after 6 months again.
